Angel Tears

today is a rainy day. i love it. i love rainy days.
it gives me the fantastic excuse of not having
to walk out of my door. it gives me the chance to
cancel what was to happen, probably something
pragmatic or an errand or something.
it gives me a day to paint, like i am today, and still
feel productive and not make me feel like my head
was in the clouds once again! it's funny because
i feel like rainy days are the days when my head
is stuck in the clouds the most-on the yucky days
when the clouds are heavy with angel tears.
it's acceptable to have your head stuck in
a rain cloud i feel like. rainy days give me the
excuse to watch as many as i want and again,
feel as though i had a productive day.
i love rainy days. thank you God for rainy days.
angels need a good cry every once in a while too,
thanks for lookin out for them.
